The Ramsgate Cottage

Situated on a prime beachfront site in the quaint South Coast village of Ramsgate, our self-catering beach cottage is a charming, spacious, and homely beach retreat – the perfect base for a relaxed family holiday. There are five, tastefully decorated rooms. Sleeps up to 10 persons. The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own en-suite bathroom. All the other rooms have two single beds per room. There are two separate bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath.

Our Ramsgate beach cottage offers a spacious lounge and dining area with uninterrupted sea views and sliding doors leading to a covered patio and open veranda. The veranda includes a built-in braai area.
This area is perfect for sundowners or long, lazy afternoons dolphin and whale watching.Whatever you do, you are sure to enjoy the refreshing sea breezes and magnificent ocean views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a stove, microwave, combination fridge/freezer, and additional chest freezer. There is also an industrial washing machine. There are enough glasses, crockery, and cutlery for 10 people and a few guests. As the cottage is self-catering, you can take your time and enjoy your meals when and how it suits you – cook at the cottage or venture into Ramsgate for some local fare. Groceries can be purchased from one of the many supermarkets in the area, including Spar, Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers, and Woolworths.

The cottage does not have a TV as it has been designed for rest and relaxation. However, it does have a satellite dish, meaning you can either hire or bring along your own viewing equipment. The cottage is situated on the beach and immediately in front of the cottage is a tidal rock pool which is ideal for both children and adults.

There is also a secluded, protected swimming pool for your enjoyment.
