Shammah Game Lodge is exclusive. Situated on a 2 000 hectare game farm between Rustenburg and Koster in the North West Province. A mere two hours’ drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. It is the perfect venue for a successful conference. The facilities include a conference facility for up to 120 people, accommodation for up to 52 guests, day trips, game drives and much, much more.
Executive Suites
4 Executive en-suite rooms with aircon, king size beds and lavishly furnished with a view you will have to experience for yourself.
Standard Suites
12 Standard en-suite rooms furnished with two single beds and plenty of working space, overlooking the beautiful garden and distant mountain range.
Our facilities include a new stylish conference room. Which can seat 100 delegates classroom-style and 40 delegates in a U-shape layout. There are coffee and smoking areas on two verandas outside. A smaller conference room, which can accommodate 20 delegates or can be used for breakaway sessions, is available if required.
Dining Room.
The inviting atmosphere in the 54-seat dining room enhances the delectable food a wine served here. We are known for our perfectly braaied steaks, excellent food and wine. Exceptionally warm welcoming hospitality. Just outside the dining room is a lovely veranda where guests can enjoy breakfast under a wooden-rod awning for more fresh air.
Other Facilities and Functions.
The are many other facilities that can be utilized on the premises. Some of which include a large boma with a
wood deck, braai area, bar counter, pool area and helicopter pad. Each facility is designed to offer our guests maximum comfort and convenience.
We also have a modern, fully equipped non-smoking Ladies’ Bar. Which opens out to a huge veranda that forms part of a boma area with a campfire and braai at night, or a lovely swimming pool close by for taking a refreshing dip on warm summer days.

We have approximately 450 antelope on the farm, ranging from giraffe to grey duiker. There are 15 species in total, including African buffalo, giraffe, eland, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, sable, kudu, waterbuck, nyala, impala, blesbok, duiker, steenbok, bosbok, zebra, warthog, and bush pig. The predators on the farm include leopard, lynx (rooikat), jackal and brown hyena. We have also identified more than 85 bird species on the farm.
