Kapula Private Game Reserve offers an authentic, self-catering safari experience in a private concession within Hwange National Park. Our five distinct camps provide varied ways to immerse yourself in the wilderness. Kapula North is our premier luxury offering, featuring five raised tents connected to a central kitchen, lounge, and dining deck. It offers flexibility for booking either a single wing or the entire camp. Little Kapula provides an intimate retreat with two separate en-suite raised tents and a central lounge/kitchen area nestled between them.

Kapula South offers a more grounded experience with individual tents and a kitchen at ground level, while the lounge and dining areas are elevated on a raised deck. For a truly unique stay, Jackalberry is a single, self-contained tent featuring an en-suite bathroom and a private kitchen and dining area on the deck, with space for two additional children.

For the ultimate adventurer, The Platform offers an unparalleled “sleep-out” experience. It features a bedroom on the raised platform alongside a kitchen, plus an additional bedroom underneath and a separate en-suite tent. Unlike our other open camps where game can wander through, The Platform includes a fenced boma area for added security.
