AA Badenhorst Family Wines are grown, made and matured on Kalmoesfontein farm in the Swartland appellation of South Africa. 180ha of old bushvines grow in the Siebritskloof part of the Paardeberg mountain.
An authentic farm hideaway, close enough to get to, yet the perfect place to get away from it all. A humble, rural retreat – enjoy wide-open spaces and fresh air, explore old vine vineyards, swim in the dams and expect the most spectacular sunsets and views.
Farm attractions include cellar tours and tastings; hiking; biking trails (own bikes); farm dams to swim & fish (catch & release); and play areas with zip-line, swings. There are animals everywhere and vegetable and herb gardens and fruit trees which you are welcome to harvest from sustainably during your stay.
